Dean's Message

    Dear Students,

With its education, practice and research activities, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences is one of the main components in emphasizing the focus of Izmir University of Economics on globalization and internationalization, which affect the world significantly in many areas such as science, technology, human, society and culture. Our most important goal is to educate our students to be well-equipped, innovative, contemporary, and successful in many fields of science and technology, offering a quality education and research environment on an international scale.

Our faculty of competent and productive academic staff aims to provide our students with the education that will help them become competitive in their fields and find employment in both Turkiye and anywhere else in the world.

Structured with an interdisciplinary perspective, general education courses in different fields, and a wide range of elective courses, our contemporary curricula emphasize critical thinking, creativity and universal ethical values.

Founded in 2001, our faculty takes justified pride of offering quality undergraduate and graduate education, as well as engaging in various projects, offering social services, conducting scientific research and collaborating with the sector, all of which touch human life, contribute academically and support development in both public and private sectors.
