We are pleased to announce that the Department of Sociology at İzmir University of Economics has officially become an affiliate of SOAS GLOCAL, the Global Council on Anthropological Linguistics, based at SOAS, University of London.

SOAS GLOCAL collaborates with various departments, faculties, colleges, and schools, along with their respective institutions, to advance scholarship in Cultural Anthropology, Sociolinguistics, and the study of Language and Society.
