Prof. Dr. Ramazan Tuğrul Senger Receives University Industry Cooperation Award

Prof. Dr. Ramazan Tuğrul Senger, a faculty member of our department, was deemed worthy of the University-Industry Cooperation Award within the scope of the University Industry Cooperation Projects Awards, organized for the first time this year by the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry (EBSO). At this event, where Izmir University of Economics was awarded in five different categories in total, Prof. Dr. Senger earned this award as a result of the integration of his academic research into sectoral projects. This development reflects the concrete steps taken by our department toward developing projects in theoretical physics that respond to industrial needs.

These efforts, carried out with the aim of integrating knowledge into technological production and industry by transcending the boundaries of academia, emphasize the importance of the discipline of physics in applied fields. Thanks to this productive bridge established between basic sciences and the business world, both our university's application-oriented educational vision is supported, and new research perspectives are presented to our students.
